OPEN ENROLLMENT APRIL 27TH THRU MAY 11TH, 2022
Due to health concerns related to COVID-19, we will continue to provide services in smaller groups when possible.
Summer Day Camp enrollment numbers will be closely monitored, as part of our social distancing efforts and license capacity. Parents are encouraged to download and print out initial enrollment documents at the bottom under the enrollment section by clicking Download Enrollment Packet below.
Our Summer Day Camp will begin May 31st and will conclude August 18th, 2022. Our camp hours are Monday thru Friday 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. Parent check in/out entrance is located at the EAST door of the YMCA. Check-in time is 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. We ask that this is followed daily to ensure your health protocols are followed. For example: all authorized adult to check-in/check-out are required to follow the YMCA's COVID related policy.
Children in our summer day camp participate in activities at the Joplin Family Y location and are also transported within the community for other activities. For example: meal sites, local library, public parks, and public pools. Parents are notified within 48 hours of any special events/activities that would require children to be transported more than 15 miles from the Joplin Family Y location.
See below enrollment fees.
Our Summer Day Camp is licensed through the state of Missouri for children ages 5-12. Enrollment packets can be obtained at the Joplin Family YMCA in person, via email or by fax. For security reasons, we have removed the “Financial Agreement & Autopayment form” from the download enrollment packet. Once we have received your initial enrollment documents you will be emailed the financial document to complete with a link to upload the document through a more secure system.
We do not offer the daily drop option for Summer Day Camp to ensure we stay within our licensed capacity.
State Subsidy Aid and tribal subsidies are also accepted for those who qualify. All state subsidy enrollments that do not have prior authorization by the state AND we have not received the authorization, the parent or guardian must apply for financial aid. That enrollment will remain as a financial aid application until state authorization is approved and received. Enrollments will not be accepted until parents or guardians follow this process and the process is complete. NOTE: we will not back date for state subsidy enrollments.
Note: In an effort to keep your banking information confidential the “Financial Agreement Form” can be submitted separately from the enrollment packet and only submitted either in person, by fax (417)625-2503 or by uploading the completed and signed copy to the provided link:
