Anticipated attendance is 1,000+ kids ages 5-12 and their parents and guardians. The event will be held indoors in the Joplin Family YMCA gymnasium. Returning this year will be DJ Brock Short and Panda Express. New features include a bicycle helmet giveaway by Aaron Sachs and Associates.
Food Vendors: We welcome your participation, but please be aware that your sales may be affected by free meals from Panda Express and free snow cones offered at the event.
Sponsors: As always, you receive a complimentary booth. Use the Complimentary Sponsor Booth registration option with the code you were provided.
PLEASE NOTE: Hosting this event indoors limits available booth space to 50 vendors, so we encourage you to reserve your space early. There are multiple options for registration:
-Basic Registration, $25 (table and 2 chairs; recommended for non-profit orgainzations (see below)*)
-Standard Registration, $75 (pipe and drape, table and chairs, optional electricity; recommended for businesses)
-Premium Registration, $100 (pipe and drape, table and two chairs located near stage, electricity, recommended for those seeking to showcase their business/organization in a high-profile location).
-Performance/Entertainer, Free (no booth space included; for groups that will perform on stage or do not require booth space for participation (i.e., mascots distributing promo items, fire truck parked outside for children to tour, vendors that provide their own setup)
*We value the participation of local non-profits and are eager to help you showcase your vital services to local families. Space limitations and the high number of no-shows associated with free booth space have made it necessary for us to charge a nominal fee for participation. Because it is important to us that all non-profits who want to participate in Healthy Kids Day have the opportunity to do so, we are making 5 complimentary registrations available to non-profits on a first-come, first-served basis. Please use this option if the registration fee is a barrier to your participation. You will be put on a waitlist if this option reaches capacity and we will contact you in the order your registration was received as space frees up. Thank you for your understanding.
